Singing is better together — and we’re always finding new ways to bring people to it. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or haven’t opened your mouth in years, our events are open to everyone: no auditions, no music-reading, no experience needed.
Throughout the year we run community singing workshops, seasonal celebrations and fundraising events — as well as supporting and collaborating on wider projects across Cambridge. Whatever’s coming up, you’ll find it all here.

Workshops
Our community workshops are a wonderful chance to come and sing your heart out for a day. They are led by the best Natural Voice singing leaders, who are inspirational teachers as well as great musicians.
Each workshop has a different emphasis: some draw on folk traditions, some focus on Gospel, others include songs from different cultures. All songs are learnt by ear – we don’t use scores – and many are in four-part harmony (we especially encourage basses and tenors to join us!)
Whether you sing regularly or haven’t sung in years, these workshops are for you: they are welcoming, totally inclusive and terrific fun. The money they raise helps Talking in Tune to continue our work for disadvantaged people within our community.
Christmas Busk
Each December, local community choir ReSound performs at a fundraising concert in central Cambridge, followed by a Christmas Busk outside.
Hundreds of local supporters and singers gather to enjoy some wonderful singing and to raise money for local charities. In 2025, £1921 was collected for Wintercomfort, the Cambridge-based charity that provides help for homeless people.
The Christmas Busk is always a rousing, inspirational event and we can never have too many singers; do come and join us. The date of the next concert and busk will be in upcoming events above when it’s set.
